Palm Beach County SFR spikes an Average 7%

Palm Beach County Single Family Residential Average Sale prices spiked 7% when compared to the same time frame of last year.  From June 1, 2011 to August 31, 2011 the average sale price in Palm Beach County for Single Family property was $328,799.  When compared to the same time frame in 2012, the average sale price is $352,388.  The change in estimates represented a 7% increase across the board.  The sales volume in 2011 was 3624 and the sales volume was 3974 in 2012 while the average exposure  time was 160 days to 166 days.  These sales figures show an increasing pattern for Palm Beach County along with shrinking inventories, steady sales volume and marketing times of 90 to 180 days on average.  So, the key question has your property increased 7% in the past 12 months?   Many submarkets are experiencing strong growth while there are still markets riddled with short sale activity which is causing additional stress to that individual submarket.  If you would like to get more information on your individual submarket and know for sure if your property has increased over the past 12 months, go ahead and give us a call to discuss 561-674-0498
